Our butchers counter received Butchers Shop of the year in 2015 and 2017, and we are very proud of our skilled staff members.

Ben Peel received an award for his dedication from Princess Anne, acknowledging mastery of butchery skills. He joined the shop directly from school and has worked here for over seven years.

Lucy became the first girl to win Premier Young Butcher of the Year. She subsequently represented Great Britain in competition and reached the finals for World Skills.

James followed Lucy's achievement by becoming the youngest person to win Premier Butcher of the Year.

All of our award winners have been trained on site by Steve, Joe and the team.
